DAML,
Since the depression is a part of you, I am curious if you have a sense that you and the depression are fully integrated or if there are days when one or the other is more fully in control? Since I don't have any concept of what it actually feels like to be the one that is depressed, I find your posts to be highly informative and enlightening. My daughter is depressed and on meds and there are days when she says to her xbf "I love you but I am not in love with you" and days when she is looking forward to re-establishing their relationship and moving forward. It literally seems like two separate people talking.
I think of you often and wish the best.
