I think too many people forget that if they leave a relationship that has produced children, often times it necessitates even MORE contact and cooperation with the exspouse.
For D individuals this means having to take on MORE responsibility because your spouse will not be there to pick up the slack.
For Fallouts it means having to release some of the control you have had over the situation at least as far as the kids are concerned. This is especially hard to do when you consider that the kids will be put into a situation similar to the one you are leaving...that of having to actually DEAL with the D parent.
