Have you tried describing your depression in words? Even a list of descriptors may be helpful. I know when I wrote my description, that started this post, it helped me define it and find where I was at with it. It was hard to write. It took me about two weeks to write it, lots of editing.

I find writing as thought process where one develops thier thoughts maturely onto paper. Then it is out of your head and not just swirling around. Something to think about.
