What an incredible journey I just went on through your written words...
Wait! It looks all too familiar. Yes. Yes! I have been down that road already ... I just thought I was traveling it alone.
I cry for you. For us. All of us here. For your wife. For all the lovers out there not knowing what to make of this illness or of their own lives anymore.
I am one of them. I do not stand alone. That may be my own saving grace. You may not feel at times. You may go numb. You may not care. You may turn everything around to be "all about you".
But not today. Today you DO feel. Today you are NOT numb. Today you DO care. Today was all about "us". You gave us a gift today. An insight. A rare glimpse.
Thank you. Thank you.
