I think this is why Anne advises to do the things you are good at. or like, as much as possible. It may be only a little time of each day, but it is moments of contentment. I know that, for some reason, when I play the piano or cook, my mind goes somewhere else. It's as though only that specific task is at hand and all the rest that is swirling in my mind slips to the back. It's an effortless concentration, which gives me rest.
