Develop More Meaningful Relationships

I think true friendship fits the description of "nutritious". I , also, think this one of the biggest stumbling blocks in dealing with emotional problems. We lose the friend we thought would be there for a long, long time. To add insult to injury, they become a parasite to our strength. We're forced to accept the damage we're exposed to and change to fit the situation. It doesn't always mean the relationship is lost, but there needs to be a substitute for the emotional energy we are now losing.

Get Lost to Find Yourself
"You don't just radically change your life one day and pick things up right where you left off the next. You need to give yourself time to get used to the changes, to adapt, to get comfortable with what's new and different."

I'm lucky in this aspect. I have approximately an hour and a half every day to think. While others may consider my drive a burden, I think of it as my "alone time". I need it, and I think most every one else does, too. The changes I've faced have involved soul searching that is without distraction.
