Business isn't doing too well right now.. I'm in debt, due to alot of heavy investments, paying my associate+partner, Dwight. The move: taken alot out of me. Only 8-12 boxes left to unpack. I manage about 12-15 per week, sometimes more. Major stresses with ODSP: they are cancelling my monthly income support, diabetic coverage, drug/health/dental plan, but after explaining my case in a diplomatic manner, they had me tell my pharmacist to fax them all of my drugs-covered,non-covered,over the counter, to the ODSP, then when they receive this, along with my record of income for this year as business owner, though I've made alot of money, much has gone into repair of audio equipment, updating my professional CDs from my CD supplier, paying Dwight, for Digital Remastering of CDs-up to 200 of them. Now,I'm looking to find a marketing /distribution -to sell,on consignment, 50-75 of my finished CDs. This will guarantee cash flow. Which has been very up-+down. Harriet:+I=our relations: still reasonably ok, only that a new wrangle: each week, she emails me telling me how much my move cost her: last 2 weeks, it started at $25,000.. last week-end, up to $29,000. Monday: (this Monday) $37,000. Tonight: Late Tuesday evening: $55,000. If I don't visit my mother each week, (been busy) Harriet lays guilt trips on me. Lastly: Dwight constantly calling me,asking for: "Money for my vacation to Thunder Bay": (Dec 21-Jan 5) Or: "Money to pay my phone bill: $60.00") Or: "Money to pay my food, shopping: :$120.00 each week) Or: "Money to pay my bus fare to Thunder Bay Round Trip" (No to phone bill payment, no to money to pay for my trip to Thunder Bay, no to bus fare money Thunder Bay, no to money to pay me for my groceries-absolutely not. Lately,Dwight has said I deserve to go bankrupt, and am a failure, etc.. This is a friend? I lost my temper on the phone today, Dwight was crying,I was crying, then I got a low blood sugar-Dwight has then called throughout the day+night, asking forgiveness-I told him I am going through a bad patch now,but hopefully, once ODSP is settled, and I have a good distribution/marketing/website in place, then my cash flow will be much more stable. Dwight told me he is sorry that he behaved so unpleasantly. I told him to have a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and hopefully,we would renew our partnership in January,2009, once my situation settles down. His last word: "Marc, you have put so much hard work, money, investments into our company,it is and remains a great pleasure to work for you- You are a truly special boss, and don't give up-as I would not want to run this magnificent company without you as my boss" I have had enough turbulence for 2008. Hope in 2009,much better sailing. I'm tired, depressed, and in danger of a melt down. Need to take a rest. Using Emotional visualization to project myself to gentle, calmer more harmonic place. Marc.
