He can come and go as he pleases says his lawyer.

Is this what his lawyer told you, directly? In a letter, or in person? What does YOUR lawyer say?

When he is home he doesn't even interact with the kids. They are so angry. I would appreciate feedback.

Family therapy, for you and the kids. Invite him along, at least let him know that there are appointments, but don't be surprised if he declines. I also wouldn't be surprised if he threw a right little temper tantrum about it, complete with, "You're turning them against me!" and "You're the one who ruined things!" I'd also make a point of finding out if your state recommends or requires parenting classes for couples with children who are seeking divorce. Get on top of that. Judges tend to look upon proactive parents with favor, generally. How old are the kids?

Best wishes & good luck.
