Why do they reach out to others instead of what's right in front of them (us)? I'm having a hard time with that right now. My ex-DBF clearly cannot be in a loving, nuturing relationship right now. Told me he couldn't feel anything for anybody and just wanted to be alone. His family confirmed that they rarely see him, and that he's been keeping to himself. But he's online telling women he to be in a loving, nuturing relationship. I don't understand. Why is it easier for them to reach out emotionally to complete strangers than us, the people who know them best?
