I hear ya Dazed. It's almost like I don't recognize myself when I retrest into this weak willed woman desperate for a response.

One of my favourite profs at school was a guy named Jordon Peterson. He was also the head of psychiatry at my school and was open about his own personal depression. You can type his name into google or you tube and see him speak (one his ted talks was my fav ted talk ever!)

One of the subjects he teaches involves "chaos theory." When my husband moved out, claimed he was depressed and then asked for a divorce, I can honestly say it was the first time I truly understood what chaos meant. I remember one of his famous quote about chaos -

"Chaos is what you see when you don't know what you're looking at"

Kinda describes how the depression of my spouse affected me, and might even describe what depression feels like to those who suffer.

I've never attached a link before, but I urge you to watch this one minute you tube clip where Peterson describes in brief what chaos is and what it represents.

Please tell me if this link works (bit of a Luddite when it comes to attaching links I must confess) and tell me your thoughts.
