Suffering, all relationships start with so much promise and potential, none of us get emotionally involved with someone we dont feel is right for us, but in this instance, we have been taken by a side ball, its not our fault, but it has happened. My xDSO wanted us to be friends, but I couldnt do that, he had changed so much because of his untreated D, I couldnt relate to the new person, not when the one I knew and loved so very much was still in my head and my heart. D changes people and you have to accept his interpretation of his reality, hard and all as it is to do, I know, because its so different to ours and we're not the ones with the mood disorder, believing you can change the situation by sheer force of will gets you nowhere, only they can change the way they view the world, preferably with professional help,
hugs,
