emerald this is a very familiar scene. i've often had good days where i'm being around people or doing something that makes me happy and i start approaching the door and all of a sudden have been wrought with anxiety. and then when i walk in he's laying in bed and basically grunts at me or looks at me angrily. let him be. your mood cannot be based on his. you had a good day and lived life. he is choosing not too. realize that it's not your fault and that he has an illness. and that getting upset isn't going to help anything and that it just makes you worse. can you sit in another room and put some headphones on and watch a movie or something? or take a bath? something anything to distract you a bit. it's important just to do something that makes you feel a little bit better right now. get away from his negative energy. and remember to breathe.
