So this morning I get a text from him about the walk with the dog and his disappointment that the snow was so deep and he can't find his "gaitors"
I text back "Your gaitors are where they have hung for over a year, in my stairwell. They were left behind in your escape. I told you you had things here that I needed to give you - but you replied, you didn't care about anything that was left. I miss you"
I thought for sure the I miss you was overstepping, but I don't really care anymore.
I had a tennis match today and for the heck of it texted him tonight that I had won. Lo and behold almost immediately a text of congratulations and commentary came back. He also mentioned he had a tennis match he lost and some colorful description.
I texted back - "I miss you on this snowy evening, I miss sharing our tennis tales together"
Don't expect more, but wasn't this the same guy who two weeks ago said "I don't think of you anymore, I think of my exwife" ?
Now he walks my dog and responds regularly to text.
So the question remains - if you want me gone, and want to move on, what gives with keeping the contact that a month ago you said you didn't want.
No really good for my forward advancement - but I can't seem to stay away.
