Hi everyone,
My EXDH was a victim of all of the above. Despite all of it, he has done well in love and life until last year when he must have gone into a major depressive episode. That was when he came home from a business trip and hit me with the "I'm not happy, not in love with you, no spark, you've failed as a wife...." speech.
After that, it was a year of chaos.... he is now on Pristiq and in therapy. He's in a very good therapy group called Men and Healing. the drug and therapy were working for a while, and now he's left again... he plummeted again...
He started the therapy and drug in January. I know it can take YEARS or forever.
I guess my question is, would it be the therapy that is causing the depression to return, the fact that he came back home... or both?
Now that he's left, he says he feels better, but we have children together, and admin and things to talk about... I can tell he's not thinking straight. I don't believe he is doing better...
