I don't know if anyone has ever posted in the past of how important you are. Truthfully, my first reaction to the illness was anger at a person. I don't know if this is common, but it was my reaction. Since I didn't have any idea of the magnitude of what a sufferer feels, I also didn't have any idea of how devastating the illness is to the sufferer. I am, through time, learning more and realizing the strength needed to fight the illness.
If I offend by a question or comment, it's not intentional. It's because of a genuine interest and effort on my part to learn more on what's the best in helping my DW. Sometimes, when dealing with her depression, it's too close to home; the emotions get in the way. So, the best source of information is from others that have no personal interest in my life and have the knowledge of how it feels.
