I suspect this topic has been raised before. I'm wondeirng what everyone thinks about the question of whether our partners think about or know about what we are experiencing as a result of their D? Do they know how hard it is for us and do they just not care? Or does the D just not allow them to even think about it? I have said to my wife on a few occasions "I know this isn't about me, but I can't tell you how hard this is". The most I will get from her is just that she "feels bad for me", but she's just making it about her in that case. I would love more than anything for her to say "I know that this is really hard for you as well and I appreciate you being as patient as you have been". But that never happens.
For everyone here--has your partner ever acknowledge how hard this is for you?
