I went to tdoc yesterday. She spent half the session with her hand covering her mouth in absolute shock. She is going to discharge the wife as a patient because of a conflict of interest. I'm her primary patient and now hearing my wife's take on this may impact my therapy. While I am very relieved that she did not drop us both, I am concerned that DW simply won't get another tdoc and will not work on her problems. Don't get me wrong, I don't want DW back but she is still a close friend and I really worry about her.
Tdoc agrees that wife is having a severe mid life crisis. She is especially upset about the violation to her 18 your old son. DW's boyfriend was one of her son's best friends. The son has been doubly violated by both his good friend and his mother. The son is so furious at his mom, and rightfully so.
In addition, all of wife's family and friends have contacted me to express their sorrow for me and concern for wife.
That's all for now. I am focusing on taking care of myself and my children.
